Who we are

Throttr is made and run by 36N Group LLC, a limited liability company registered in Wyoming, USA ("we", "us"). You can reach us at support@throttr.com. By using Throttr you agree to these terms.

What Throttr is

Throttr is an app for logging training and food, planning workouts, and asking an AI coach about them. It gives general information about exercise and nutrition, drawn from published research.

It is not medical advice. Talk to a doctor before you start a new training plan or change how you eat, especially if you are pregnant, injured, recovering from illness or living with a medical condition. Stop and get help if something hurts in a way that worries you.

Answers, plans and food estimates from the AI can be wrong. Calories and nutrients read from a photo or from what you say are estimates. Check anything that matters to you.

Who can use it

You need to be at least 16 years old to use Throttr.

Your account

You can use Throttr without an account; what you log then stays on your device. With an account, a copy is kept on our server so your devices stay in step, and the AI features become available. Keep your password and your recovery key safe: we cannot see your password, and without the recovery key a forgotten password cannot be reset.

What you log stays yours

Everything you log belongs to you. You let us store it and process it only to run Throttr for you: to keep your devices in step and to answer the AI requests you make. We do not sell it, show you ads, or use it to train AI models. You can download a copy from Settings at any time. How we handle it is set out in the privacy policy.

Fair use

Use Throttr for your own training and food. Do not use it to break the law, to send automated requests, to resell its AI, or to get into accounts or systems that are not yours. The AI features have limits per account: a monthly allowance of AI use, and daily limits (for example 40 meal photos, 60 voice notes and 60 coach questions a day). The app tells you when you reach one. We may suspend an account that breaks these rules.

Price and payment

Everything in Throttr except the AI is free: logging training and food, plans you make yourself, the food search, your progress, keeping your devices in step, and seeing and downloading what you logged. There is no charge for it and no time limit.

The AI (meals read from photos, words or voice notes, the coach, and plans built by the AI) comes with Throttr Pro: $24.99 a year, charged once a year until you cancel. The price is lower in some countries; the price shown at checkout is the one you pay. The first 100 people to buy Pro pay $9.99 a year for as long as their plan renews without a break.

Until Pro opens, the AI is free for every account, within a monthly limit. After it opens, an account without Pro can try the AI: 10 meal estimates, 10 coach questions and 1 plan built by the AI. We will tell you before any of this changes, and a new price only applies from your next renewal.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

You can cancel at any time. Your Pro then runs to the end of the year you paid for and is not renewed; after that the AI stops and everything else keeps working. Refunds are set out on the refunds page.

Changes to Throttr and to these terms

Throttr will change as we improve it, and we may add, change or remove features. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will say so in the app before the change applies. If we ever stop running Throttr, we will give you at least 30 days' notice so you can download what you logged.

Our responsibility

We work to keep Throttr running and your data safe, but we provide it "as is", without promises that it will always be available or free of errors. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, and our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here takes away rights you have by law as a consumer.

The law that applies

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, unless the law of the country you live in says otherwise.
